SCOUT RALLOS, Quezon City — Former Bureau of Customs (BoC) collector and Marilao, Bulacan mayoral aspirant Atty. Jemina ‘Jem’ Sy (center) has vowed to make a difference in her hometown by giving genuine public service to her would-be constituents.

Together with her ‘Nagkakaisang Marileño’ team, she expressed commitment to push for the total development of her town at the ISTAMBAY (Ikaw, Sila, Tayo, Ako Maglilingkod sa Bayan) Kapihan sa B Hotel on Scout Rallos Street in Quezon City.

In the media forum. Sy’s group announced that part of her political agenda would be to increase the standard of living among her constituents in Marilao.

Though the town is famous for having one of the most polluted rivers in the country, Sy enthused that her team plans to establish Marilao as the ‘Kakawin Capital of the Philippines’.

We have high hopes for the newbie in local politics and looking back at her track record when she was with the BoC as the youngest official of the agency, her dedication to public service is really worth to watch for if she wins in the upcoming midterm elections on May 12 next year.
