A PHP10 million peso bounty has been offered to persons who could provide information for the arrest of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy who is facing serious criminal charges.



This developed as the Philippine National Police has disclosed it is looking into the possibility of filing a case of obstruction of justice against former President Rodrigo Duterte who has publicly claimed having knowledge of Quiboloy’s hideout.



“We are looking through our legal service to get witnesses to file cases. You cannot say something that will disrupt police’s efforts,”Marbil told an interview on Monday (July 8).



He said police legal experts are determining whether or not Duterte has violated Presidential Decree 1829 which penalizes “any person who knowingly obstructs, impedes, frustrates or delays the apprehension and prosecution of suspected criminal offenders.”



Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said that aside from the PHP10 million reward for Quiboloy’s arrest, PHP1 million each is being dangled for the for the arrest of the self-proclaimed religious leader’s co-accused in criminal charges.



Being hunted down by police authorities are Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada, Jackielyn Roy and Sylvia Cemanes. Charges of Child Abuse and Exploitation and Qualified Human Trafficking have been filed against them.



“These are serious cases so the cases are non-bailable. Until now, authorities are looking for him,” said Abalos, referring to Quiboloy.



Aside from the warrants of arrest issued by the courts to where the cases were assigned, the House of Representatives and the Senate have also issued arrest orders against Quiboloy.



Abalos said private individuals have offered the cash rewards for the arrest of Quiboloy and his alleged cohorts.
