DILIMAN, Quezon City — Aligned with its memorandum stating the 'no plate, no travel' rule, motorists have been warned to attach their car's license plate or else they will be fined ₱5,000 for driving without it.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) issued the reminder after receiving reports that some vehicle owners are still refusing to comply with existing regulations regarding the said travel policy.
LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II noted this following the recent resolution of the issue on license plate distribution issues that nagged the agency since 2014
Mendoza gave assurance that the backlog for four-wheel vehicles has already been resolved even as license plate distribution for motorcycles is expected to be completed within the month of July the current year.
