A criminology graduate who died in a road accident just days before the release of board exam results has been confirmed as one of the successful examinees.
Ruben Estonanto Balauro from Negros Oriental State University passed the Criminologists Licensure Examination as shown in the list provided by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Yet Balauro never learned of his achievement as he passed away before the results were announced.
Balauro’s brother-in-law, Samuel Casipong Relon, shared that the family had just celebrated his mother’s birthday the day before the tragic accident.
On February 25, Balauro and his younger sister were traveling to Dumaguete City when their motorcycle collided with a parked truck in a dimly lit area.
