UNIVERSAL CITY, California — Just more than month ago after Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez triumphed in The Voice USA, another Filipino contestant is trying her chance in the competition.

Thirty-one year old Jessica Manalo from Las Vegas, California amazed the coaches on The Voice USA Season 27 with her powerful rendition of Sam Smith's 'Unholy' during the blind auditions.

In a sneak peek uploaded by NBC, two coaches—Michael Bublé, who mentored Vasquez in his win, and five-time Grammy Award nominee Kelsea Ballerini—turned their chairs for Manalo, impressed by her performance. But with the full episode yet to air on television, her choice of coach remains a mystery.

Manalo recalled her journey in the World-acclaimed song competition, saying: "The last 24 hours have been overwhelming. My heart is full and I am in shock from the love and support from so many near and far."

"My episode has not officially aired and NBC The Voice [featured a] sneak peek [of] my blind audition for all to see! But who do I choose? You'll have to see for yourself," she posted in Instagram.

Jessica also reposted some of the well-wishes and congratulatory messages she received since the sneak peek audition was uploaded online.

In addition towards the end of her post, she wrote: "Yes, I am Filipina," to which she attached a Philippine flag emoji to her pride in her Filipino heritage.
